"Life could be better there, I don’t like what I’m seeing now, I don’t like what I’m going through now, I think I better deal with Egypt than this.” Complained the Children of Israel.
Sometimes, difficulties, the wave of life often lead to stress; and complaining becomes the natural response, blind us to see the bright day ahead. Not that you want to complain but it is so hard, not that you like Egypt but it is hard; I just want to breathe some fresh air, I just want life to get a little easier.
The pressure of our moment cause us not to think of the after fact; we want to do anything that can satisfy this need right now, even when we know perfectly well what we are doing is wrong but we can’t help the impulses of our old ways, we avoid the idea of thinking of the later consequences for as for now, I just want to think about the quickest way to escape. It seems like I’m not going to make it, I am at my last breathe, and it does not matter the price. I just want satisfaction now
Because of our sinful nature, our natural inclination is to please ourselves. When pressure of the moment arisen, do your best to resist. satan is a crafty tempter, he is sweetening wrong doing, making it look acceptable using excuses to sin. Never underestimate the power of sin it does not matter how small it is and never tempt to fight it with your own strength. Instead, look to the Holy Spirit for help. Focus on the power and wisdom of God to help you.
God promised the Children of Israel a land that flows with milk and honey and in spite of tough moments, they entered that Promised Land. Us too, God promised to meet all of our needs, we just need to trust Him. He may not take you along the shortest way to your goal, it may not look like the way you’ve seen in your mind, trust Him to lead you safely around unseen obstacles. He knows the end of your journey from the first second you step-in the earth. Trust Him, He is an ON-TIME GOD. Even if it’s at the last minute, do not compromise to the quickest way.Do not let pressure of life control the way you live.
