There are people God put in our lives to help us, care for us, make us feel loved and all we leave them with is hurt, pain.
I thought about Jesus who came and died for us because He loved us, cared for us and wanted to give us a good life but all we do is sabotage everything He ever try to do for us for our benefit. I believe Jesus is saying to all of us, stop fighting Me, don’t you see you are not going anywhere without me and all I am doing is giving you what is good for you and want you to know that My love and blessings are not just for a chosen few, but for all who believe.
There are three areas in which we, as a people, are most concerned about in our lives: our health, wealth and relationships and Jesus is all about that too. He wants us to have good health that our bodies be a desirous place He can live in and use for His Kingdom. He wants us to be wealthy that we have no worry of what to eat or to wear nor where to sleep but focus on Him and worship Him as an act of thanks giving to Him for being our Father. He wants a relationship with us and He pursues us like a man desperately in love with the woman of his dreams, doing anything to spend time with her. God is hungry to get to know us. We should be on guard making sure we are maintaining our relationship with Him.
In the book of John 10:10, Jesus warned us of what the enemy is about: come to our home, come to our heart to kill our purpose, the very reason we are being put on this earth, steal our joy, our peace and identity, the part of us that should reflect God’s glory on earth, and destroy everything we have, everything we love and put a wedge between us and Him.
But Jesus our Lord said, be of good courage, be strong and resolute; I come to give you life, to give you back your purpose, your identity and more abundantly surround you with things you like to fulfill your enjoyment on earth, I come to give you direction and wisdom so you can stand, and all that I have in store for you is to do you good not to harm you. All I want to do is to love you.
As people, do we really take heed to these warnings; recognize the enemy’s plans, and take action against him. All he ever wants is to distract us, depress us and make us selfish enough that we care less of good things that is happening around us. How different would our life be if we would stop rejecting good to praise evil, how different it would be if we would stop wrestling with ourselves, yield to the things that are here to better us, stop wrestling with Jesus and let Him love us. Would you give Him a chance to do that? It’s all He wants to do; love you.
